Workshops

I run wild yeast sourdough bread making classes for a maximum of three participants per course, allowing me to give you lots of individual attention. Over the course of a morning we go through each stage of the sourdough baking process, including how to make, maintain and store a sourdough starter. I show you different kneading and shaping techniques and I will teach you a method that gives you fresh bread all week with only minimal preparation once a week. I will show you how you can manage to make real, sourdough bread even if you lead a busy life. While the loaf you have made is cooling, we will make and bake delicious sourdough pizzas. You will take home your baked loaf, another loaf you can later bake at home, a couple of my sourdough starters, a proving basket, a dough scraper as well as a new skill you will treasure forever. The workshops take place (on advertised weekdays during term time) starting at 10am and finishing around 1:30 in my home in Ewelme, in the foothills of the beautiful Chilterns near Benson in Oxfordshire and cost £130 per person.

Please check current dates of workshops and availability on this page and get in touch with me to confirm (info@wildbaker.co.uk). You can also get in touch if you have a party of 3 to arrange a new date that works for you.

You can then book onto one of my workshops here https://wildbaker.co.uk/product/workshop-voucher/
